Joy is my missing link. Can you speak to that?

My inner voice is telling me to stick it out. What are your thoughts?

I feel like we can’t tell her what to do because people need to come to that realization on their own. When we talk to her about her lifestyle, she dismisses it thinking she knows better.

A family member (who suffers from alcoholism) may have to do outpatient at a rehab.

I am in a quandary about two paradoxical spiritual teachings that I am constantly faced with and I am not sure if it is either/or or both.

I have to be honest: I’m a liar and it saddens me because I have a myriad of great qualities that are devalued once my phoniness is revealed.

Our last session revealed a lot of countertransference from her towards me, and I've stopped working with her. But there is no resolution and I still feel bound to her as a teacher and a source of the work that I do, as she has been the foundation of it.

What are some warning signs that you’re using therapy just to tell stories rather than as a tool to experience your own truth?

Do I stick this out and continue to be miserable but secure that I have a roof over our heads (kids and I), or do I run for my life and risk poverty and a big backlash from my husband and religious community?

I just want to put the world on pause to deal with all of this insecurity and anxiety and then dive back in, but TIME. It just doesn’t stop. Help me please.

I’m trying to figure out how to find the job I will be passionate about. I want to own my own business, and the problem is: I have so many things I am passionate about that it makes a big confusion in my mind.
